Obtaining civil partnership certificates

Introduction

Civil partnerships were introduced on 5 December 2005.

You can obtain a civil partnership certificate either locally from the registration authority covering the area where the partnership was registered, or centrally from the General Register Office.

Use our search box on the right to find details of the local registration authority where the partnership was registered.

How to search:
